The Drop In service is a friendly and safe space for young people aged 12 to 18. Youth are welcome to ‘drop in’ to the Zone Lounge at the Zone Youth Space to play computer and video games, have a game of pool, table tennis, play board games, take part in arts and crafts, watch a movie or just chat with friends or staff. Some of our programs and activities will often run during the drop in times as well.
Drop-in is closed during public and holidays, with set holiday program options provided instead. Follow the Zone's Facebook Page and Instagram for more information.
As well as being home to many youth activities and regular drop in sessions, the larger Zone Youth Space has hireable spaces and activity options. Sports teams hire the indoor airconditioned court for team trainings, schools and groups hire spaces for exhibitions, ceremonies and events and clubs hire activity rooms or multi-media rooms for programs and activities. On Friday nights and Saturday afternoons, Astroskate hires the roller skating rink for open public skate. For Astroskate enquiries please see their Facebook page here.
Call Zone Youth Space on 08 9236 4550 to discuss our room options, availability and low hire rates, or visit the City’s hireable spaces page.
