Unrestricted Burning Period

The Unrestricted Burning Period is in effect. Residents in rural zoned areas can burn at any time without a permit, but must do so safely and responsibly. Where to Shop and Eat in Kwinana

Kwinana has many places to shop, eat and get services. These are close to home and easy to get to.

The Kwinana Marketplace

 This is the main shopping centre in Kwinana. It has big shops like Woolworths, Coles, and Big W, plus smaller local stores. Nearby, you will also find Aldi and other useful services.

Wellard Square

Next to Wellard Train Station, this is a good place for shopping, food, and health services. It’s a great stop for people catching the train home.

Local Shopping Centres

Each suburb has its own small shops:

  • Bertram – IGA, pharmacy, newsagent, food and services
  • Medina – IGA, food, and convenience shops
  • Leda, Calista, Orelia – small local shopping areas for nearby residents
  • Wandi – hosts the Honeywood Farmers Market on Sunday mornings with fresh food and drinks
