The City of Kwinana is offering $50 cash rebates for individuals who register with Safe and Found WA, until funds are exhausted. Safe & Found supports people living with dementia, autism or a cognitive impairment who might be at risk of becoming lost or reported as missing, by ensuring Police have immediate access to critical information to assist when undertaking search operations. 1. To be eligible for the cash rebate please register with Safe and Found WA. 2. Jump on the City’s Smarty Grants portal to request your $50 rebate. Registration to this program is $99 and includes Safe & Found Profile set-up, first year’s membership + complimentary Safe & Found ID bracelet. Ongoing membership is $52 per year.
The Safety and Security scheme organised by the Department of Communities has been reintroduced, with West Australian Seniors Card members able to claim up to $400 per household. The rebate allows seniors to improve the level of security within their home by installing a range of security items such as window and door deadlocks, security screens, home intruder alarms, sensor lights or roller shutters.
To qualify for the subsidy, your security item/s must be installed and invoiced within the past three months of application. Only one claim per household.
