The LyriK Educational Scholarships assist young people with their studies as the enter Year 7, Year 11, Year 12 and further education beyond Year 12.
The Scholarship Program is part of the City’s LyriK – Leadership, Youth, Respect in Kwinana Program and aims to recognise educational achievement and encourage further education, towards improved education standards in Kwinana. The LyriK Educational Scholarship Program is proudly supported by Alcoa and Coogee.
Applicants are scored against criteria across three key areas - academic, personal, and community – in relation to what they have achieved in 2021.

There are four scholarship categories for those entering Year 7, Year 11, Year 12 and further education in 2022.

Under the three key criteria areas – academic, community and personal - applicants will be asked to answer the following ten questions. Each question is worth 10 points for a total score out of 100.
Applications will be assessed by a panel comprised of representatives from all three local high schools.
