Administration Building Refurbishment

The City will be commencing its refurbishment works to the customer service foyer at the administration building from 19 April – 14 June 2022. Public Notice for Feral Animal Control Program

The City of Kwinana will be undertaking its feral animal control program between 28th February and 31st of August 2022, in City of Kwinana managed Conservation Reserves.   

Feral animal control will be focused on the red fox, feral cat and European rabbits.  Control will be carried out by trained professionals with appropriate pest licenses, permits and associated qualifications required under the Animal Welfare Act of 2002 and the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act (BAM Act).

Adoption of Cat Local Law 2022

The City of Kwinana has adopted a local law relating to cats.

The purposeof the local law is to provide for greater regulation and control of cats within the City of Kwinana. The Local Law was Gazetted on 29 March 2022 and will come into operation on the 12 April 2022.

Notice of Intention to Levy Differential Rates and Minimum Payments

In Accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Kwinana hereby gives notice of its intention to impose differential rates for each rating category in the 2022/2023 financial year. Spraying of Grass Weeds in Bushland Reserves

Spraying of Grass Weeds in Bushland Reserves within the City of Kwinana will take place during May, June, July, August and September 2022, subject to weather conditions.

An appropriate herbicide and associated dye will be used through the following bushland reserves, Belgravia Dampland, Bertram Sanctuary, Chalk Hill, Chisham Oval, Clementi Road Reserve, Depot Swamp, Gentle Road, Henley Reserve, Homestead Ridge Reserves, Honeywood Reserves, Lake Magenup, McLaughlan Road Reserve, MillarWellard Reserve, Postans Reserve, Banksia Rd Reserve, Sloans Reserve, Squires, Sutherland Reserve, Thomas Oval Reserve and Wildflower Reserve
