Spraying of Grass Weeds in Bushland Reserves

Spraying of Grass Weeds in Bushland Reserves within the City of Kwinana will take place during May, June, July, August and September 2022, subject to weather conditions.

An appropriate herbicide and associated dye will be used through the following bushland reserves, Belgravia Dampland, Bertram Sanctuary, Chalk Hill, Chisham Oval, Clementi Road Reserve, Depot Swamp, Gentle Road, Henley Reserve, Homestead Ridge Reserves, Honeywood Reserves, Lake Magenup, McLaughlan Road Reserve, MillarWellard Reserve, Postans Reserve, Banksia Rd Reserve, Sloans Reserve, Squires, Sutherland Reserve, Thomas Oval Reserve and Wildflower Reserve

Waste Local Law 2022

The City of Kwinana has adopted a local law relating to waste and refuse.

The purpose and effect of the Waste Local Law 2022 are as follows:

Purpose:

To regulate the storage, collection and disposal of waste and refuse from premises and waste facilities in the City.

Effect:

Unless otherwise authorised, the storage, collection and disposal of waste and refuse within the City must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the local law.

Local Planning Scheme No. 2 Amendment 159 to Rezone Lots 3, 9003 and 9007 Rowley Road, Mandogalup From ‘Rural A’ to ‘Development’ Zone

Notice is hereby given that the Local Government of the City of Kwinana has prepared the abovementioned local planning scheme amendment for the purpose of amending Local Planning Scheme No. 2 to rezone Lots 3, 9003, 9007 Rowley Road, Mandogalup from ‘Rural A’ to ‘Development’ zone.

Notice of Proposed Road Closure

In accordance with Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997, the City of Kwinana intends to make an order to close the following road:

Portion of Road Reserve adjoining 61 Hope Valley Rd and 12 Reliance Bend

This closure is being proposed to allow the amalgamation with the adjoining properties listed above.
