Equip-Me for Sport Initiative

The City of Kwinana is proud to launch the Equip-Me for Sport Initiative in partnership with Fair Game and the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (DCITS).

Originally developed by the City of Gosnells, this initiative aims to break down barriers to participation in sport by providing local children with access to quality, pre-loved sporting equipment and footwear—completely free of charge.

To be eligible, children must either:

  • Be registered for KidSport, or

  • Be listed on a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card.

This is the first time the program is being delivered in Kwinana, with distribution taking place during September/October 2025.

Whether it’s footwear such as boots and runners or sporting items such as balls, racquets, bats and much more, Equip-Me for Sport is here to help families get their kids active and involved.
