New projects including the new Danjoo Mia pavilion at Thomas oval, the Djilba Pavilion in Wellard, the development of the Postuns regional sporting facility, refurbishment of the city’s administration and the expansion of the Kwinana Adventure park to create a new water play area.
Over the years, I have also been an active member of local primary school boards and P&Cs, community associations, junior sporting clubs and resident groups.
Professional Experience
In my 20s, I was heavily involved in advocating for young people and was an inaugural member of the City of Perth Youth Advisory Council.
I have spent most of my working life in the community sector, holding a range of roles including youth worker, team leader and service manager. More recently, I worked as an electorate officer in a State Member of Parliament’s office, assisting residents and managing a broad range of community issues.
I hold a Certificate in Youth Work, a Certificate in Training and a Diploma of Community Services Management.

Interests and Priorities
I am passionate about creating opportunities for children and young people to be active, involved and connected within our community.
I strongly support sustainable development in the right areas to meet the needs of our growing community. At the same time, development must be balanced with protecting as much of Kwinana’s natural bushland and environment as possible. Our natural areas are an important part of what makes Kwinana such a unique place to live.
Community safety and security are also key priorities for me, and I am committed to ensuring we continue to explore practical and innovative ways to make our neighbourhoods safer.
Kwinana continues to grow rapidly, with significant future development across areas including Wandi, Anketell, Casuarina, Mandogalup and Wellard. It is important that our infrastructure, services and community facilities keep pace with that growth.
Above all, I am a strong advocate for building sustainable and connected communities and ensuring people across our City have access to the opportunities, skills and resources they need to make their neighbourhoods even better places to live.
