City of Kwinana Grants and Rebates
Local Commercial Support Grant
Two rounds of the Commercial Support Grant are released each year. Applications for the next round are closing 5pm Monday, 27 March 2023. The City of Kwinana recognises that local businesses play an important role in the quality of life of the community. Local businesses increase the vitality of our City and are an important source of employment for local residents. The purpose of this grant is to encourage business owners to invest in making improvements to their business and to engage other local business and services to carry out this work.
The grant funds will be allocated on a competitive basis via an Expression of Interest (EOI) process. The grants will take the form of reimbursement (to a maximum of $1,000) for specified types of expenses for example physical upgrades, security features, strengthening online presence and professional development. Disbursement of grant funding will occur on receipt of final paid invoice.
The following local businesses are eligible to apply for funding:

CCTV $50 Rebate
In a WA first, the City of Kwinana has partnered with WA Police to provide $50 rebates when local businesses and residents register existing functioning CCTV systems with Cam-Map WA.
The platform allows businesses and home owners to self-register the location of their CCTV system onto a secure database which is operated by the Western Australian Police Force. The knowledge obtained from knowing the locations of installed CCTV systems will support WA Police in investigations and ultimately enhance public safety within the community. Police will contact the resident or business owner for footage should an incident occur. To check eligibility and to register, visit CCTV Registration Rebates
