Road Closure

Due to railway crossing maintenance works, Gilmore Avenue will be closed between Mandurah Road and Wellard Road, Leda from 12am Saturday, 18 February to 6pm Sunday, 19 February.

During this time, detours will be in place via Wellard Road, Mandurah Road and Millar Road West.

Homeless, At Risk and Disadvantaged People

Information on support services for those who are at risk, disadvantaged or facing homelessness in the City of Kwinana.

Community Wellbeing Support

The City of Kwinana’s Community Wellbeing Officers provide a wellbeing support services for adults and children who are at risk or currently experiencing social disadvantage.

This can include people currently or at risk of experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, mental health issues, social isolation, or any other social disadvantage, who are unsure where to turn for help.

The free support service can provide general advice and initial support to identify the best specialised support services to help them further. To speak to a Community Wellbeing Officer, please call the Community Support Line on 9236 4570 from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Youth can also be supported by the City’s Youth Engagement Officers, with more information at the Youth Support services page.

Individuals looking for support for any of the above reasons, should call the Community Support Line on 9236 4570 between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.  Staff can help over the phone or may arrange an appointment, either in-home or at a City facility.

Referrals can also be taken from agencies or care professionals using a referral form.
