Park Features


Hiding amongst the trees at Calista Oval is Kwinana’s state-of-the-art destination play space, the Kwinana Adventure Park. The Park has been inspired by the natural beauty of Kwinana, incorporating elements of the beautiful bushland, coastline and wetlands. ​

Young explorers will enjoy hours climbing and crawling through the giant Tree Maze, or keeping cool under the water jets in the Splash Pad. The Adventure Park is a place where imaginations are inspired and expectations are challenged, with multipurpose equipment designed for unstructured play. 

Accessibility is a key feature of the Park, with each element carefully designed to maximise inclusion for all ages and abilities. Read more about accessibility.

Opening Hours​

The Park is designed for daylight use. Toilets and Splash Pad operate seasonally and are currently available seven days a week between the below times.

Toilet opening hours;

  • 8am till 6pm winter season (1 April to 30 September)
  • 8am to 8pm summer season (1 October to 31 March)

​Splash Pad opening hours;

  • ​9am to 6pm winter season (1 April to 30 September)
  • 9am to 7pm summer season (1 October to 31 March)

Adventure Park Map

Tree Maze

The elevated Tree Maze weaves through the natural surroundings, incorporating physical and sensory play activities for all ages and abilities. Discover the giant slide, racing slides, clatter bridge, net tunnels, climbing walls, balancing leaves and musical instruments throughout the impressive play structure. ​

Splash Pad

Discover different movements of water through interactive spouts, showers, sprays and jets while staying cool under the watchful eye of splashing pelicans. ​

Sand Play

Transport sand through a series of conveyor belts, buckets, diggers and pulleys in the Adventure Park’s sand factory play area. ​

Junior Area

Suitable for smaller adventurers, the Junior Area includes a cup spinner, dry creek, junior swings, musical play, and the Swamp Hen Cubby and Nest.​

Action Play

The high-energy Action Play area includes a giant nest swing, double flying fox, and climbing net structure.  ​

Sensory Play

Sensory and musical activities are incorporated throughout the park to engage the senses and inspire imagination. Sensory play helps to develop creativity and motor skills.  ​

The Patio

Hire the Patio for your next party or get-together. This sheltered space features a kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave as well as BBQs and picnic benches. The Patio will comfortably accommodate up to 40 guests. A small hire fee applies.​ Hire the Patio.


The Adventure Park has been purpose-built to be inclusive and allow children of all ages and abilities to participate. Read more about accessibility.


The Adventure Park is a place for families to comfortably spend the day. The toilet block includes showers, accessible toilets and a fully accessible changing places room with change table and hoist. Plenty of picnic tables, BBQs, drink fountains, bins and sheltered areas are located throughout the Park.​


The play space is fully fenced with double-gated access points to give parents and caregivers peace of mind while children play. CCTV operates throughout the entire facility. ​
