Award categories include the Martin Waudby Leadership Award, Volunteer of the Year Award and the Citizen of the Year Award.

“Kwinana consists of many caring, talented and inspiring people who would be worthy recipients of one of our esteemed awards,” said Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams.

“If you know a special individual or a team in our community who you believe is a worthy of such a prestigious award, I would encourage you to nominate them in recognition of their work and dedication to our City.

“Anyone in our community can be nominated – and it’s not limited to individuals. Teams can also enjoy a moment of notoriety.

“Being nominated is exciting and the impact of being nominated should not be underestimated. If you know that special someone or team who deserves acknowledgement, please show your appreciation and nominate them now.”

Nominations close on 31 October 2020. Online applications for the Martin Waudby Leadership Award and the Volunteer of the Year Award can be made via the City’s SmartyGrants link: https://kwinana.smartygrants.com.au/CommunityAwards2020.

The Citizen of the Year award nominations can be made online here: www.citizenshipawards.com.au.
