Due to the ongoing High Threat Bushfire period and seasonal conditions being unfavourable for bushfires, the DFES Commissioner has extended the Prohibited Burning Period for 7 days.

The City of Kwinana’s thriving retail and small business scene continues to develop a strong presence with more shopping and dining options now than ever before in Kwinana.

The Kwinana Marketplace is our central shopping location, which houses major retailers such as Woolworths, Coles and Big W as well as smaller, locally-owned retailers. This centre is surrounded by other large retailers including Aldi and various service providers, all conveniently located in the heart of our City.

The City’s surrounding suburbs each have their own local shops, varying in size and offerings.

Conveniently located at the edge of Wellard Train Station, Wellard Square offers a range of shopping and dining options as well as health service providers. For commuters, this is the ideal spot to stock up on groceries on the way home.

Bertram Shopping Centre houses IGA, a pharmacy, newsagency as well as dining and service offerings.

Medina’s central shopping area include an IGA plus other convenience and dining options.

Leda, Calista and Orelia each have small shopping precincts, conveniently serving the needs of locals.

Wandi hosts the Honeywood Farmers Market every Sunday morning, selling fresh produce, food, drinks and more.

Kwinana also several drinking and dining options including The Local based in Kwinana Centre, The Well in Wellard, Pace Road Tavern in Medina and Marri Park Tavern in Casuarina.
