Unrestricted Burning Period

The Unrestricted Burning Period is in effect. Residents in rural zoned areas can burn at any time without a permit, but must do so safely and responsibly. Burning is not allowed on days with a HIGH or greater Fire Danger Rating or during a Total Fire Ban. Read more about how the Unresricted Burning Period works.

Pre-booked Verge Collection - Additional Service Fees

Verge collections are provided to residential properties paying for a waste service charge. Each residential property receives up to 5 pre-booked collections each year; however, you are also able to order additional services as required.

Ordering Additional Pre-booked Verge Collections

Before you order an additional verge collection service are you sure that your items are beyond repair, can't be sold, or unable to be donated?

If disposal is necessary, here are the 2025/26 rates:
