The Kwinana Public Library is set to launch a new online catalogue, on 5 July 2018, which will allow users to browse, search, renew or reserve their favourite items within an easy more user-friendly system.
Mayor Carol Adams said the Library's new online services portal and catalogue will provide users with a more modern approach and an easier way to reserve and renew items.
"This is a great opportunity for users of the Library to take advantage of browsing, searching, reserving and renewing items from the comfort of their own home, or anywhere else they may be."
"As we migrate more and more to the modern, online space, it is only natural that our Library's online catalogue should follow suit. We hope that the upgrades will ensure for a greater quality experience for the user," she said.
In order to complete the upgrade, the City's current system will be temporarily unavailable from 29 June to 5 July 2018. The City apologises for the disruption to service and appreciates the understanding of users during this time.
Staff of the Kwinana Public Library will be available at the facility to help users navigate the new system and to provide assistance where required.
The new online catalogue can be viewed here from Thursday, 5 July 2018.
