The Perth Symphony Orchestra returned to Kwinana on Saturday, 7 December to perform the biggest concert Kwinana has ever seen.

The 55-piece orchestra performed the ultimate music experience to an audience of thousands under the stars on Calista Oval.

Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams said the City was thrilled to have the world-class performers back in Kwinana.

"The huge popularity and success of the last two year's concerts gave us no choice but to ask the Perth Symphony Orchestra to return," Mayor Adams said.

"We asked them to deliver an even bigger and better concert this year and they certainly didn't disappoint!" she said.

Songs performed included ABBA's 'Dancing Queen', George Michael's 'Faith' and an epic bagpipe medley of AC/DCs 'Long Way to the Top' and John Farnham's 'You're the Voice' to finish out a fantastic night of free live entertainment for Kwinana residents and their friends and families.

"I am proud that the event was very family friendly, with everyone having a great time whilst respecting our request to drink responsibly and refraining from smoking at the venue," said Mayor Adams.

The free event was made possible thanks to generous sponsors Kwinana Industries Council, Fremantle Ports and Lotterywest.
