Sporting and Achievement Grants

KidSport makes it possible for Western Australian children to participate in community sport and recreation, regardless of financial circumstances. KidSport will allow eligible youth aged 5 to 18 years to apply for financial assistance to contribute towards club fees. The fees will go directly to the registered KidSport clubs participating in the project through their participating local government.​

Who's eligible?

  • applicants must be aged five to 18 years;
  • applicants must have a Health Care Card or Pension Concession Card; and 
  • the applicant’s primary place of residence must be in the local government area they are applying to.

Achievement Grant

This Program supports individuals and teams who are performing, competing or representing the Kwinana Local Government area at regional, national or international competitions, conferences and events.

Individuals/teams must be selected by a recognised State or national body and provide a letter of selection. Funding will assist with expenses incurred while attending the activity.

What funding is available?

Regional (outside the metropolitan area): up to $100 for individual applications or $400 per team

National (outside the Western Australian border): up to $175 for individual applications or $525 per team

International (outside the Australian border): up to $250  for individual applications or $750 per team
