Kid​​Sport

KidSport makes it possible for Western Australian children to participate in community sport and recreation, regardless of financial circumstances. KidSport will allow eligible youth aged 5 to 18 years to apply for financial assistance to contribute towards club fees. The fees will go directly to the registered KidSport clubs participating in the project through their participating local government.

 
Who's eligible?
  • applicants must be aged five to 18 years;
  • applicants must have a Health Care Card or Pension Concession Card; and 
  • the applicant’s primary place of residence must be in the local government area they are applying to.

Individual sports donations

This funding is to be used by Kwinana Residents who have been selected to represent Western Australia or Australia in a regional, national or international competition or event. 

The funding provides financial assistance relating to travel and accommodation costs.

Australian Sporting Commission Local Sporting Champions Grant​

The Australian Sporting Commission​ currently offer Local Sporting Champions Grants to coaches, officials and competitors aged 12 to 18 participating in state, national or international championships. Please note; this is not a City initiative and different processes and timeframes apply.
