12 May 2026 Delivered through The Zone Youth Space, the grants provide funding and support for young people aged 12 to 24 who want to build skills, create opportunities, connect with the community, and make a positive impact in Kwinana.
Funding of up to $500 for individuals and $1,000 for groups is available for a wide range of initiatives, including community events, workshops, leadership opportunities, environmental projects, creative activities, and state or national representation.
The program is designed to empower young people to take action, develop confidence, and showcase their talents while strengthening community pride and connection.
Applications are open year-round and must be submitted at least six weeks before funding is required.
Young people can apply as individuals or groups, with projects encouraged to demonstrate how they will support personal growth, community connection, or positive local outcomes.
The program is open to young people who live, work, or study in Kwinana and who have not received a Youth Impact Grant within the past six months.
The Youth Development team at The Zone Youth Space is available to help applicants brainstorm ideas, understand the application process, and strengthen submissions.
