Comedy didn’t miss the cut with Janelle Koenig’s Mother Plucker taking to the stage in February offering a take on motherhood, marriage and midlife, followed by a night of drag bingo dubbed Balls Up Bingo with Dean Misdale.
The family will be mesmerised by The Quizzical Mr Jeff’s circus and magic set to orchestral music in April, the Kwinana Dance Festival and Christmas at Koorliny returns, and everyone can learn a little more about WA’s history at the Catalpa: Flight to Freedom recreation of the Irish Fenian escape in 1876 from Fremantle Prison, showing in June.
Quintessentially Australian, FIFO is a powerful show that explores the highs lows and heart of the FIFO lifestyle in August.
Music lovers will treasure the return of international concert pianist Roman Rudnytsky for his 25th tour in August and in addition to this vibrant lineup, Koorliny Arts Centre will present five in-house community theatre productions.
Mayor Peter Feasey said Koorliny’s 2026 program celebrates the diversity of the performing arts from touring acts to local legends in community theatre.
The lineup of community theatre productions includes Billy Elliot the Musical (March), In Other Words (May), Dogfight the Musical (June), Come from Away (September) and Singin’ in the Rain (November).
“Koorliny Arts Centre is proud to offer something for everyone and continues to be a creative hub for Kwinana and beyond for all ages,” Mayor Feasey said.
