The Alcoa Children’s Festival promises a colourful array of experiences and adventures for young children at Calista Oval on Saturday, 8 March from 11am to 3pm.
Whether flying 12m high on the dream swinger ride or trying your hand at firefighting, the festival will be packed with thrilling experiences from toddlers to pre-teens, Mayor Peter Feasey said.
“I encourage families to explore the educational stalls and hands-on activities designed to ignite curiosity and inspire young minds, while celebrating the beauty and diversity of the world around us,” Mayor Feasey said.

“There will be circus, LEGO and craft workshops, science and animal encounters, face painting and sensory play stations.
“The Festival will also feature a dedicated toddler play space, live stage entertainment and you might even spot a superhero walking amidst the crowds!
“Families can indulge in a variety of mouth-watering treats from food vendors while soaking up the vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere at Calista Oval," he said.

Attendance and activities at the Alcoa Children’s Festival is free, but please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
