Design a cleaner, greener Kwinana

The City of Kwinana is excited to launch the Bin Sticker Design Competition for kids in Kwinana. This is your chance to design a creative sticker that will be featured on bins across the community. Let’s work together to spread awareness about sustainability and waste management in a fun, artistic way!

How would you encourage people to place waste in the bin and keep Kwinana clean?

How to Enter

1. Download the Template
   Get the design template here.
2. Get Creative
   Use your imagination to design a sticker that inspires our community to care for the environment.
3. Submit Your Entry
   • Drop your completed design off at The City Administration Building, Darius Wells Library and Resource centre or The Kwinana Recquatic  OR
   • Email a scanned copy to environmentwaste@kwinana.wa.gov.au by 4 February 2025.

Prizes

• 1st Prize: An art supply kit and your design featured on bins across Kwinana!
• 2nd & 3rd Prizes: Art supply packs and a certificate of recognition.

Key Dates

• Entries Close: Tuesday 4 February 2025
• Voting Period: 5 February to 15 February 2025
• Winner Announced: 16 February 2025

Judging Criteria

Designs will be judged on:

• Creativity
• Relevance to the theme of waste reduction, sustainability or environment
• Visual impact

A panel of judges will shortlist entries, and the final winner will be chosen. Artists must be under 16 years of age.
