Superhero theme will inspire children under 12 years with plenty of free activities on offer.

The Alcoa Children’s Festival will fill Calista Oval with free children’s activities for little superheroes to enjoy a day of entertainment and adventure.

The Alcoa Children’s Festival makes its big return on 11 March from 11am to 3pm.

Mayor Carol Adams said the free activities for children would include the RAC Helicopter, Birds of Prey, face painting and so much more.

“Families are encouraged to bring children along dressed as their favourite superhero to enjoy the free live entertainment and activities throughout the day, and food trucks will be on site,” Mayor Adams said.

“We are thrilled to see the Alcoa Children’s Festival return as a super day out for the children of Kwinana,” Mayor Adams said.

The event is proudly sponsored by Alcoa, Lotterywest and bp.
