Following the success of the event in 2022, the City of Kwinana is excited to be presenting Kwinana Summer Sounds Concert in the Park in Bertram, one of its first major events for 2023.
Returning on Saturday, 18 February 2023 this laid-back community concert will have a range of activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Deputy Mayor Peter Feasey said this event would build on the success of last year’s Summer Sounds events in Bertram and Wandi and see community events continue to be taken out into the local neighbourhoods in Kwinana.
“Families are encouraged to pack a picnic blanket, walk or cycle down to Centennial Park and enjoy food from the food trucks that are available on the night, as well as music and entertainment at a fantastic local event,” Deputy Mayor Feasey said.
“Our previous summer sounds events have featured some outstanding headline acts and this event is no different. Featuring Brass Party who will be performing at the event with classic songs from the 1990’s and 2000’s being played with a brass twist, outrageous horn lines and great bass for everyone to dance to,” Deputy Mayor Feasey said.
People attending the event are encouraged to walk, or ride to the smoke and alcohol-free event for accessibility and safety purposes.
