Presented by the City of Kwinana, the Summer Sounds Concert in the Park is the first event of year and will feature Two Cent Professionals covering favourite classics from Whitney Houston through to Dua Lipa and The Weeknd.

The concert will also include special performances by dynamic Japanese drumming troupe Taiko On, and experienced band Plastic Max and the Token Gesture.

Mayor Carol Adams encouraged residents in the area to ride or walk down to this family-friendly, alcohol and smoke-free event, which will be held from 4.30pm to 8pm.

“This laid-back community concert is free, so bring the children along to enjoy the free activities, pack a picnic or buy dinner from the food trucks,” Mayor Adams said.

Children will be able to take part in kite-making and create their own summer sounds on the featured music walls.

Food trucks on offer will include K-Jun Kitchen, KM Coffee 2 You, Moroccan Food Station and Sweets on the Run.

COVID safety measures apply, including proof of double vaccination and scanning in for using the manual register for SafeWA.
