Kwinana Recquatic has upgraded its health and fitness studios with the install of the latest cardio and strength equipment from Technogym.

Kwinana Recquatic is the only recreation centre south of the river to offer a full suite of Technogym Excite Live Cardio equipment, giving members more variety to improve their overall health and fitness experience while exercising at the centre.

The Technogym equipment allows users to exercise with a virtual trainer via on-demand one-on-one sessions, complete guided routines with various movements scaled to the individual’s ability, plus users can catch up on their daily dose of entertainment through apps such as Netflix on high definition display.

Accessibility has been a primary consideration for the equipment selection and floor layout. The Centre is proud to offer a range of wheelchair adaptable equipment in both the first and ground floor studios, providing cardiovascular, resistance and wellness options.

It has been more than six years since the centre’s Health and Fitness studios last underwent this level of renovation and Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams said the Recquatic would benefit greatly from this upgrade.

“The advanced equipment will further elevate the Recquatic as the premier health and recreation centre in Kwinana and will mean a higher quality service that will exceed expectations for all Recquatic users,” she said.
