Restricted Burning Period

In line with Section 18 and 20 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, the City of Kwinana has transitioned to Restricted Burning Period as of 12:01 am Tuesday 15th April 2025, however due to current seasonal conditions, the City of Kwinana will not be issuing any Permit to Set Fire to the Bush until further notice.

Kwinana Senior Citizens Centre

The Kwinana Senior Citizen’s Centre has been a welcoming hub for Kwinana's senior community since it first opened in the 1970s. Many activities run out of the Centre, including Bingo, Carpet Bowls, Lunches, Zumba, Line Dancing, Rummy King, Snooker, Darts, Art, Karaoke, Strength and Balance classes and a Singing Group.

Volunteering at Kwinana Senior Citizens Centre

There are also opportunities to get involved as a volunteer, whether by joining the Committee, participating in the Senior Ambassadors Program, or helping with the Centre activities.

New members and first timers are always welcome to visit. Yearly memberships are only $25 per year and commence from 1 April. Being a member comes with privileges, such as subsidised meals and costs to activities hosted at the Centre.
