Discover the range of services that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing in the City of Kwinana.

There are a number of local support services available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living within the City of Kwinana:

Moorditj Kulungars Playgroup 

Moorditj Kulungar Playgroup brings children, parents, grandparents and extended kin networks of the local Kwinana and Rockingham Aboriginal communities together to learn about culture and provide support through a child’s early years.

The playgroup is held every Tuesday at 26 Bolton Way (opposite Orelia Oval) from 9:30am to 12pm, during school term.

Moorditj Kulungar Playgroup is supported by the City of Kwinana, National Indigenous Australian Agency, and Ngala.

Child and Adolescent Community Health 

Child and Adolescent Community Health provides health and developmental assessments, early intervention and health promotion services for children and young people.

Aboriginal Health Team – early intervention health promotion for children 0-5 years old. Located at 1 Peel Row, Kwinana Town Centre.

Mirambeena Leisure Centre 

Mirambeena Leisure Centre – People who Care Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service has a strong reputation in the delivery of culturally sensitive and diverse services to older members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Services include home care packages, domestic assistance, transport, the Marmun Yorga Elders Gathering Group and more.
