Extension of Prohibited Burning Period

Due to the ongoing High Threat Bushfire period and seasonal conditions being unfavourable for bushfires, the DFES Commissioner has extended the Prohibited Burning Period until Midnight 28 April due to seasonal conditions. Read the full public notice.

Please remember to take care of your health and protect others by doing the following;

Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Avoid touching eyes nose and mouth
Practice respiratory hygiene –cover your mouth with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze
Stay home if you feel unwell
