Celebrate Biodiversity - Family Friendly Wildflower Walk

Join us for a guided wildflower walk and some kids activities around the theme Wildflowers and Pollinators to celebrate Biodiversity

Join us for a family-friendly morning looking and learning about wildflowers and pollinators. Join a guided wildflower walk with the City of Kwinana Environment Officer around Mokare Reserve, and make your own native pollinator hotel with EcoAction! A colouring competition is available to enter and there will be information on making your garden pollinator friendly for the adults too!

• A guided Wildflower Walk will leave at 10am around Mokare Reserve and run for approximately 45mins. The track is easily accessible for families and strollers.
• Make your own Native Bee hotel from 11am-12pm. Adult supervision is required, recommended for ages 3 to 5 but other children welcome.

Morning tea will be provided at the conclusion of the walk at the Apsley Community Centre. We invite you to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the adventure playground after the event.

Please dress appropriate for the weather and bring a hat, water bottle and reuseable coffee cup if you have one. A cafe is available adjacent to the community centre.
