Young people aged 12+ are invited to join us at The Zone Youth Space for the 2026 Great Global Mend.
Bring along a piece of clothing from home that needs repairing, mending or a creative refresh, or choose something from The Zone’s free Pop-Up Op Shop to work on.
You’ll learn practical skills to mend, repair and restyle clothing, helping give pre-loved pieces a longer life and reducing textile waste.
And there’s an extra reason to get involved – your completed mend will contribute to the Great Global Mend record attempt, joining people around the world who are choosing to repair rather than replace.
Whether you’re completely new to mending or already love getting creative with clothes, come along, learn some new skills and make your mend count.
