Cafe Connect - Dementia awareness

Join us for a cuppa and a chat. Discover the WayFairer Program, and hear from guest speaker Alzheimer's WA about dementia.

Topics include:

• What dementia is and how it presents
• How it progresses
• What supports are available in the community
• What supports can be offered through Alzheimer WA to support people with dementia and their families

There will be a question and answer (Q&A) session after the presentation. Light refreshments provided. About the Wayfairer program: This program is about connecting adults 50 years and over to their community. Through meaningful volunteer opportunities, and our relaxed Wayfairer events, you will have the opportunity to create lasting connections with others in your local area.

Parking: Please note, parking opposite Darius Wells (where Ken Jackman Hall is located) can get quite busy. There is also parking available at the Kwinana Marketplace if needed.
