Enjoy a light morning tea, a complimentary hot drink, and an informative session presented by the Older Persons Rights Service on Preventing Financial Elder Abuse and Avoiding Scams.

A wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, gain valuable knowledge, and help raise awareness. Everyone is welcome!

1 in 6 older people in Western Australia have reported experiencing abuse. The Older People's Rights Service (OPRS) assists older people who are at risk of or experiencing elder abuse, with free legal and advocacy services. We also have a team of dedicated volunteer peer educators delivering informative talks to other seniors in the community. In this peer session, older people will learn more about their rights, recognise the warning signs of abuse, and take steps to protect themselves. Learn how to safeguard your assets and gain knowledge on the topic.
