Wellard - Henley Reserve Walking Group

Enjoy the meandering peaceful bushland and flat paths that are in Henley Reserve park and bushland with friendly locals! Mostly shady and cool, there are two paths to choose: stay on the paved path near the basketball court and playground, ideal for people with walkers, prams, crutches and wheelchairs. Or, extend your walk with a venture into the bushland trail and enjoy the serenity of tree-lined paths. The bush trail is better suited to those who don't rely on wheels to move as in some places it is soft with sand, but mostly it is solid. The full walk will take less than an hour to do. Bring your hat, wear sunscreen and carry water. The best parking is on Ringwood Loop. Meet at the basketball court for a quick meet and greet before moving on to the paved walk, followed by the bush walk for those eager to take on a little more of the walk. Come along for a gentle stroll, every Thursday to enjoy the natural beauty of the reserve and meet others who love to celebrate the beautiful bushland of Kwinana or need a little inspiration to get mobile on an easy walking track.
