Kwinana GREAT Sorts – Bulk Waste Verge Collection for Area 3
Get ready, Kwinana! Area 2 (Bertram, Casuarina, Wellard) is preparing for Bulk Waste Verge Collections. 
Important: Do NOT place your waste out before the allocated 'place out' dates for your area to avoid penalties under the City’s Waste Local Law.
Pro Tip: Before disposing of items, consider donating, swapping, or selling them to keep reusable goods out of landfill. Let’s make landfill the last resort!
For items that can’t be reused, please follow these simple guidelines:
Maximum waste size is 3m³, and items should be separated into four piles:
1. White goods/metal items – Fridges, stoves, etc. (Fridge/freezer doors must be removed. No glass.)
2. E-waste – TVs, electrical items, and computer hardware
3. Mattresses
4. General bulk waste – Furniture, scrap, timber (max 1.5m length)
Prohibited Items – Not for Collection:
Glass, mirrors, or glass tables
Gas bottles or aerosols
Hazardous waste
Asbestos, fencing sheets, or construction materials
Paints, oils, or other liquids
Tyres or vehicle parts
Only place permitted items on the verge.
