Join Julie Glover, photojournalist, for this engaging two-part workshop that will help you identify what elements make a good photograph, and through a selection process bring a series of your images together to create a ‘photostory’.

Photography experience is not required and people of all photographic skills/levels are welcome.

Julie has an MA in photojournalism and has produced a book based on her documentary photography work in Kenya. She has facilitated photostory workshops in remote communities including the Pilbara region of WA, and internationally in Greece, Israel and Nepal.
She enjoys developing intelligence around the language of photographic images, and in her workshops she encourages participants to reach a deeper connection inside this method of communication. Julie is the founder of a new social enterprise, ‘Healthy Mind Photography’ which promotes wellbeing through the process of creating photostories.
This workshop is part of the STRETCH program being piloted by the City of Kwinana. STRETCH supports local workshop facilitators to introduce new workshops and experiences to the Kwinana community.
