We are excited to kick off the start of our Harry Mcguigan Park Revegetation Project and need your help! The project aims to plant and maintain native endemic trees, shrubs and grasses on the eastern side of the park. We will start the morning with a Acknowledgement of Country to acknowledge and pay respect to First Nations people as the traditional owners and custodians of the land. Plant, learn, have heaps of fun then end with a rejoicing cuppa and cake (Green Barista) with accompanying soft music to celebrate the rehabilitation of the area! The planting session will be lead by our resident nature lover, gardener extraordinaire and all round good neighbour Olivier + team (Blue Tongue Sustainable Gardens). Please bring along drinking water, gloves, gardening tools and wear weather appropriate clothing including long sleeves and enclosed shoes. All welcome!
