Photography Competition 2026

Help create the 2027 City of Kwinana Community Calendar by sharing the photographs that capture what makes our community unique.

The Kwinana Photography Competition 2026 is open to Kwinana residents of all ages. There will be a maximum of 12 winners. Each winner will have their image featured in the Community Calendar and receive a $50 prepaid debit card.

About the prizes

The Kwinana Photo Competition invites professional and amateur photographers to capture and share the people, places and moments that make Kwinana special to them. Up to 12 winning photographs will be selected. Each winner will receive:

1. A $50 prepaid gift card.
2. Their photograph featured as the main image for a month in the City of Kwinana Community Calendar.

The Community Calendar is available to collect for free from the City Administration Building. This is a great opportunity for exposure to your work and to grow your portfolio.

Submission tips and inspiration

If you're looking for inspiration, we have included some photos from recent City-run photography competitions below. We recommend that when you take and submit photos you:

• Use a modern DSLR camera to capture high-definition photos.
• Shoot landscape photographs. Remember that landscape might look best in a calendar.
• Upload high-definition images directly to the form on this page. For example, avoid emailing them to yourself before submitting because you might lose quality in the email.
• Submit up to three different images to boost your odds of being selected.
