Scope of Work: A 40m section of Wells Place, starting from Wellard Service Road, requires resurfacing and infrastructure upgrades to address current deficiencies.
Road Resurfacing: The 40m road section will be resurfaced with a 30mm thick layer of 7mm Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) with low voids to enhance durability and surface quality.
Kerb Replacement: Existing semi-mountable and mountable kerbs will be replaced to improve road edge stability and drainage.
Footpath Installation: A new 1500mm wide footpath will be installed along the entire section of Wells Place, including the construction of three pram/pedestrian ramps to enhance accessibility.
Project Limits: The works will cover the 40m section of Wells Place, starting from Wellard Service Road.
Objective: To restore the road surface, replace outdated infrastructure, and improve pedestrian access and safety throughout the specified section.
