Scope of Work: The surface of Harlow Road between Gilmore Avenue and Calista Avenue has significantly deteriorated, with kerbing damaged beyond repair in some sections and drainage issues present. The project aims to address these issues through comprehensive rehabilitation.
Site Clearance: Removal of existing kerbing, footpaths, crossovers, and cutting/capping of existing reticulation systems.
Drainage and Pavement Work: Perform drainage improvements, kerb base construction, pavement widening, profiling, and primer sealing to prepare for the new road surface.
New Kerbing and Final Surfacing: Install new road kerbing, followed by laying the final wearing course once cured.
Footpath and Crossover Installation: Construct new concrete footpaths and reinstate crossovers to restore pedestrian and vehicle access.
Verge and Reticulation Reinstatement: Complete necessary verge and reticulation reinstatements to restore the area to its original condition.
Pavement Marking: Install new pavement and line markings for improved road safety and organization.
Project Limits: The works will cover the entire section of Harlow Road between Gilmore Avenue and Calista Avenue.
