Scope of Work: The ageing seal on Chapman Road, between Wellard Road and Bright Road, has developed cracks and potholes. To address these issues and improve the overall infrastructure, the following works will be undertaken:
Kerb and Footpath Replacement: The existing kerb and footpath will be replaced. The footpath will be widened to 1.5 meters to improve pedestrian access.
Crossover Modifications: Any crossovers affected by the works will be modified as required to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
Road Profiling and Surfacing: The road section will be profiled to a depth of 30mm. A new surface will be applied using 30mm thick, 7mm stone Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) with low voids, followed by a 10mm emulsion seal.
Project Limits: The works will cover the entire section of Chapman Road between Wellard Road and Bright Road.
Objective: To repair and upgrade the road surface, improve pedestrian access, and ensure the long-term durability of the infrastructure within the specified section.
