A new subdivision has been approved for Lot 607, Lyon Road in Wandi. Tracc Civil has been engaged by the developer to carry out underground boring to connect a deep sewer for 8-10 new semi-rural lots. To accommodate the works, the southbound lane of Lyon Road will be closed from 10 April to 8 May 2024 between Magenup Drive and Cassowary Chase. Detour signage will be coordinated with the Water Corporation pipeline installation project. The Water Corporation pipeline install will also come through this location and require the southbound lane closure of Lyon Road to continue separate to the deep sewer works.
The deep sewer connection works will also require closures for sections of Tiliqua Crescent and Needlewood Loop in Wandi. Ongoing works will continue for the development into August 2024. Users are encouraged to consider alternative routes wherever possible as inconveniences to traffic are expected during this time.
