Verge Treatments

The area of land between a road edge and the adjacent property boundary is known as a verge and the Town of Kwinana has a Policy in place to ensure that street verges within the area are developed to an appropriate and consistent standard with due regard to aesthetics and public safety.

Street Trees

Landowners are entitled to one tree per 20 metres of verge. A normal residential Lot shall be allocated one tree, a corner property maybe allocated two. Rural Lots are entitled to one tree every 30 metres (all are subject to available funding each year).
