Environmental Health Officers (EHO)
EHO's provide assistance and information on a wide range of health-related matters concerning:
- Food hygiene
- Noise pollution
- Environmental pollution
- Infectious diseases
- Effluent disposal systems
- Pest controls matters
- Water quality
- Health promotion
In addition, EHO's monitor and regularly inspect:
- Food premises and manufacturers;
- Public buildings; and
- Hairdressers, beauticians and tattooists
