The Town of Kwinana is once again inviting locals to submit photographic entries for consideration in the 2012 Community Calendar.
The 2012 edition of the annual community publication, distributed to over 11,000 households and businesses in Kwinana, will feature an aesthetically pleasing collection of imagery highlighting the large variety of services, facilities and attractions on offer throughout the Town.
The calendar aims to tell the story of a modern city in a rural environment by showcasing the personality and beauty of Kwinana in a series of photographs. Residents are encouraged to submit their own photos to the Town of Kwinana for possible inclusion. Potential themes are endless, with the only stipulation being that the subject be within the Town, for example industry, beaches, wildlife, parks and buildings.
The selected local photographers will receive written acknowledgement in the calendar as well as three additional calendars to distribute to family and friends. Unsuccessful calendar submissions may also be used in other Town of Kwinana advertising and promotional materials.
Photos are required in high resolution, digital format.
Photos should be emailed to comms@kwinana.wa.gov.au or can be saved to disc and delivered to the Town’s administration building at the corner of Gilmore Avenue and Sulphur Road.
The competition closes on 31 October; winners will be notified after this date.
