The Kwinana Library and YourTutor are offering local students the chance to win an iPod Touch.
Entry is available to students attending years four to twelve who use YourTutor, the online tutoring service offered free of charge to Kwinana library members.
The convenient service is accessible from a home computer or the library and allows students to connect online with qualified expert tutors consisting of Australian educated, certified teachers, professional tutors, post graduates or advanced undergraduates.
Students can then get help with their schoolwork via methods such as controlled chat, an interactive whiteboard and shared web browsing.
Tutors are available for sessions Monday to Friday between the hours of 4pm and 8pm and can assist in the areas of english, mathematics, science, assignment research and general study skills.
Entry is as simple as inputting a valid email address when prompted and is limited only by the number of individual tutoring sessions. The competition closes on Wednesday 14 December and the winner will be notified by the email address supplied.
