The Town of Kwinana is running a competition to name one of their biggest community facilities, the Kwinana Youth Space, set to open by the end of the year.

An Apple ipad is up for grabs as part of the competition which aims to involve local youth in the development of this major facility with which they will soon populate.

Once complete the Youth Space will stimulate the ongoing Town Centre revitalisation which in 2011 will gain enormous speed.

Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams encouraged community members to get creative with their entries.

“We are really looking for names that reflect the spirit of the Kwinana community so all entries are welcome and encouraged,” Mayor Adams said.

Entries should include the potential new facility name with your personal details such as name and contact details and a short reason for your idea.

Entries can be emailed or posted to:

    Attention: Alexi Peacock
PO Box 21, Kwinana WA 6966

Entries close March 24, for further details call the Town of Kwinana on 9439 0200.
