The Town of Kwinana’s Youth Development Team are eager to enlist more young ambassadors to help give a voice to their peers throughout the Town.
The Kwinana Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of young people between the ages of 12 and 21 years, coming together fortnightly at the Zone youth space on the corner of Gilmore Avenue and Darius Road to discuss current issues faced by the local youth as well as assisting in the coordination of youth oriented events and programs in the community.
From Monday 30 January, the group will meet on alternate Monday nights from 4.30pm until 5.30pm at the new modern youth facility. YAC welcomes participants of all personality types and encourages all interested parties to step forward and get involved in this worthy cause.
