Following the recent completion of the new multi million dollar youth space on the corner of Gilmore Avenue and Darius Road in Kwinana, the facility will officially open its doors to the public with a celebratory open day event on Saturday 19 November.
The fun will kick off at 10am and will continue through until 5pm, featuring live music performances, arcade games, sports, music workshops and roller hockey. The day’s line up will include stage performances by the likes of Harlequin League, Splinta, MC Trooth and more.
Open Monday to Friday, from 9am until 5.30pm, the Zone is a purpose built, two storey youth space catering for the young people in Kwinana between the ages of 12 and 24 years. The facility will offer a large range of youth oriented programs, workshops, events and activities, as well as housing a team of youth workers and various other applicable service providers.
Located opposite Calista Oval/Kwinana Skate Park, locals are encouraged to attend the open day this weekend, enjoy a free lunch courtesy of Bertram Primary School, and explore what the new facility has to offer.
