Town of Kwinana together with the Kwinana Festival Committee are inviting community organisations to participate in the 58th Annual Kwinana Festival Fair Day and Concert at Calista Oval on Saturday 27 October 2012 from 10:00am until 9:00pm.
Stallholder applications are now open, with forms available on the Live! Kwinana website at www.livekwinana.com.au. Application forms and fees for food stalls and stalls requiring power close on Wednesday 1 August 2012, with all other stall applications required by Saturday 1 September 2012.
The Fair Day will take place from 10:00am until 4:00pm and will revolve around the theme The Year of the Dragon, featuring dragons through activities and events including the Kwinana Festival Street Parade.
The Kwinana Festival Fair Day & Concert has become an iconic event proudly showcasing the rich cultural diversity present in our town, with close to 8,000 people attending each year. This presents a unique opportunity for organisations to promote and fundraise whilst also attracting new members.
The 2012 program includes talented local performers showcased on the Mike Alexander Stage, sponsored by Fremantle Ports; free rides and lots of fun for Under 5’s at the KIC Children’s Rides; have a go with your local Sports Clubs at the BHP Healthy Stadium and the annual CSBP Fireworks Spectacular.
