Town of Kwinana Town Planning Scheme No. 2

Amendment No. 115

AMENDMENT NO.115 TO TOWN OF KWINANA TOWN PLANNING SCHEME NO.2: INTRODUCING DEVELOPMENT CONTRIBUTIONS AREAS AND PLANS FOR COMMUNITY BASED INFRASTRUCTURE (SOFT INFRASTRUCTURE).

At its Meeting held on the 17 December 2008, Council resolved to initiate the abovementioned amendment to Town of Kwinana Town Planning Scheme No. 2. The amendment proposes to introduce Development Contribution Areas and Plans across the Towns urban area into the Scheme Text and onto the Scheme Map accordingly for community based infrastructure (often referred to as soft infrastructure).

Submissions on the above town planning scheme amendment may be made in writing on Form No. 4 and lodged with the undersigned on or before 30 November 2009.

Town of Kwinana Town Planning Scheme No.2

Residential Design Guidelines.

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Town of Kwinana will commece advertising the abovementioned Residential Design Guidelines for the purpose of introducing draft Residential Design Guidelines for areas of increased density. A Local Planning Policy (Medina Residential Design Guidelines) and Residential subdivision and development local planning policy will also be introduced as part of the draft Residential Design Guidelines.

Submisions on the Residential Design Guidelines may be made in writing on Form 4 and lodged with the undersigned on or before 2 December 2009.

WELLS PARK RECREATION PRECINCT MASTER PLAN

The Wells Park Recreation Precinct Master Plan has been developed to ensure that the future of Wells Park reflects the values and vision of the Town of Kwinana; maintaining environmental sensitivity, catering for expected demographic change, the upgrade to facilities, whilst being culturally and socially inclusive.

The Master Plan is currently open for public comment.

ELECTORS' GENERAL MEETING 2009

The Electors' General Meeting for the Town of Kwinana will be held on Monday 30 November 2009 commencing at 7:00pm at the Council Chambers, Sulphur Road, Kwinana.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the Annual Report for the previous financial year, present a report from the Mayor and the Chief Executive Officer, plus any other general business.

Copies of the 2008/2009 Annual Report and financial statements will be available at the Town of Kwinana Administration Centre, Library and Citizens Advice Bureau or online from the 18 November 2009.
