A Youth Centre where youth can meet to socialise, learn and take part in a range of activities is planned for the centre of Kwinana.
The Youth Space will be an area where young people can feel a sense of ownership and where the community can see the positive aspects of youth culture. This safe environment will allow better interaction between youth and youth officers and will provide young people with access to support and educational tools, as well as being a fun place to hang out in the recreation area, coffee shop and lounge areas.
Architects are already working on detailed plans for the Centre which will be housed where the current Astro Skate facility is at the back of the Recquatic.
